Chapter Twenty-Nine: Life is Good for the Little Ones

After a few minutes of snuggling with Gapa Ned, Irish's tummy growls. "Ah-gee!" Irish wails as Ned stares clueless at the suddenly sobbing little girl.

Irish looks both grateful and sleepy as she waits in her highchair for her meal.

Meanwhile, Nathalie enjoys playing with her new granddaughter. "Who's my cutie pootie girl? You are! You are!" Nathalie squeals while Isadora stares at her hyperactive grandmother, unsure what to do.
"Na? Na?" She whimpers, trying to try her that she's not enjoying being so high up in the air. If anything, this makes Nathalie more excited.
"I'm your Nanna, yes I am! You're so sweet, my little Izzy Bizzy bug!"

Irish loves playing with mud-like food, and to her, it's the best meal in the world. She can play and eat it!

Thorne smiles as he watches the dozing Isadora, it makes his longing for a happily ever after with Rosaline that much stronger.

After her nap, Isadora is ready to explore the world, one shaky step at a time.

But she has to wait her turn. Isadora pouts as Nathalie spends some time with Irish. "I'm coming soon Izzy Bizzy!" She sits down in a huff, hopefully Irish will be getting an embarrassing nickname too!

Ned sighs as he prepares another meal for the family. He doesn't know who's going to cook all the meals once he's gone. "Though really, that's the least of my worries for them when I pass on." Ned mumbles, thinking of his grand-babies. He's so lucky to still be alive to be around them, but he worries about how they'll deal with him dying. "Will they be brokenhearted or will they not even remember me?" Ned wonders sadly, not liking either option.

Isadora is pleasantly surprised to find Daddy is picking her up instead of Nathalie. "Da!" She exclaims, her little hand reaching out to grab his hair.

"Don't Isa, that will hurt Daddy." Though his voice is firm, he has a smile on his face. She looks so much like her mother, with those stunningly beautiful green eyes. He loves her bright red hair as well, even though it's brighter then Nathalie's. Roxanne told him that it's the exact shade of red of her mother Ruby Broke has. Tyson isn't sure if Roxanne is happy or saddened by this, as she's never been close with her mother.
"I Is-a!" Isadora exclaims, loving that nickname much more then Izzy Bizzy. Tyson just smiles and holds her even closer, still feeling amazed that she's his baby. He thinks Isadora smells a bit like strawberries, when she doesn't has a poopy diaper of course.

Roxanne is busy starting up her garden again. She brought a few of Ned's plants from the old place, but she feels like she's cheating somewhat from using plants that are such great quality and rarity already.

Tyson finally lets her out of his arms, and Isadora is super excited to explore the world around her. What will she find today?

Isadora giggles as she plays with the xylophone, it makes such fun noises! She wonders where Irish is though, she wants her to hear how awesome she is at making pretty sounds.

  2. They are some of the cutest tots EVER, Tyson and Thorne are in the running as well :D
Nathalie is a lot younger then Ned (I think at this point she's about 1/2 way through adulthood, maybe a bit more), so she'll at least be there for the children :)
