Chapter Twenty-Seven: Graduation Gift

Tyson doesn't really feel like getting up today, especially with the vampire gnomes nipping at his feet, but he knows it's a special day...

"I'm getting my diploma!" He mutters excitedly to the empty room, all dressed up in his grad garb.

"I wonder why school was cancelled today? I'm grateful, but..." Roxanne thinks out loud. "I know Ty's graduating today, but surely I can sneak in half way through the ceremony. My back is just killing me, I need a quick trip to the spa!"

Roxanne decides to get into something a bit more comfy and get to eat some food before she leaves however. "Ew, when's the last time somebody's cleaned out this fridge? When the house was first built?" Roxanne screams as she sees moldy cheese smeared all over the refrigerator.

Tyson is super excited about his diploma, especially since he's the school valedictorian. "Roxie's going to be so proud of me!" He pauses, his happiness dimming a little bit as he realized Roxanne never made it to the ceremony. "I wonder what happened to Roxie? I hope she's okay." Tyson thought, knowing she wouldn't have missed it without a good reason.

Roxanne has a very good reason indeed. "Ow!" She wails, crying in agony outside the spa. "I didn't even get a massage out of this!" She mutters before another wave of pain courses through her body.

"I'm worrying over nothing, I'm sure Roxie just got sidetracked or something." Tyson tries to cheer himself up with some apple cobbler at the Bistro. "Mmmm, that's some good cobbler." Tyson can always be distracted by some delicious food.

Roxanne isn't sure what to think. She's just come home with her baby girls, and Nathalie is battling with spirits that snuck into the home. "This home is crazy, we need to find a place without all these crazy spirits." She mutters to himself. She decides that after a night of sleep, they're going to move somewhere new. Somewhere without spirits and a room for the babies.

"I'm sorry that coming home is so crazy Isadora, and now we're moving...but I just want you to have a good home from day number one. And with all the money Nathalie's earned from ghost hunting, I'm sure the new place is going to be awesome." Roxanne mutters to her first born, Isadora Marlin.

Ned holds onto Irish Marlin, the younger twin. "Nobody expected twins, especially me. I can't believe I'm a grandpa, you're just so adorable." He whispers to the girl wrapped in green, feeling lucky to still be alive for his grand-babies' birth.

Tyson smiles as he absorbs the precious scene with Irish and Ned. He can't believe that Ned is a grandfather, or that he is a father. Tyson isn't sure how long they'll live in this house, but all he knows is that his prefect family is finally coming together.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Pregnancy's a Witch

Roxanne is in BIG denial, despite her ever increasing stomach. "I can't be pregnant, I'm only a teenager. A married teenager, but a teenager none the less. And we only did it once! Can people really get pregnant on the first try?" Roxanne mumbles to herself as she works diligently on the garden.

She stops watering the plants for a moment, feeling really odd. She stands there for a few moments, unsure of her emotional state right now. She feels a little kick in her stomach, and is suddenly overwhelmed with the sensation to cry. Her eyes start to itch, and she knows that the hormones are about to do her in. "I don't feel ready to be a mother, but I can't just give up my baby either!" She wails to the unmoving plants.

Roxanne doesn't realize that Tyson is standing behind her, witness to the whole meltdown. "It's okay Roxie. We'll deal with this together." Tyson whispers softly into Roxanne's ear. "I know it's hard, but we're strong. We won't let a little baby conquer our love." Roxanne lets out a weak giggle, despite herself.
"How long have you known?" Roxanne asks nervously.
"A while now Roxie, it's been pretty hard to miss. But you needed to figure it out in your own time, so I let it be."

Roxanne turns around to face Tyson's earnest face. "I guess I've known for a while too, but I didn't want to believe it." She pauses, and lays a shaking hand on her stomach. "The baby's kicking right now. It freaked me out at first, but it's kind of funny feeling." Tyson puts his hands on Roxanne's stomach, and he laughs.
"The baby's kicking up a storm in there, I guess he wants out." She lightly smacks Tyson. "Hey, what was that for?" He pauses thinking. What did he say wrong? "Oh, I meant he or she." Roxanne laughs, how she loves tormenting her husband.

Roxanne continues gardening, feeling much better about the upcoming new arrival to the household. Now if only her plants could weed and water themselves, life would be perfect.

Whenever Thorne is near Rosaline, he feels an unfamiliar warmth in his heart that he can't quite explain. He isn't sure what to think about his feelings, but he knows that he needs to talk to Rosaline about it.
"Rosaline, how you feel about me? Be honest with me, I just need to know." Thorne takes Rosaline's hands, hoping that against all odds she'll feel the same way about him. She gives him an uncertain smile, one that Thorne can't quite read.

"I'm not sure Thorne, I'm just not ready for something so steady. I'm just finding out who I am, I don't want to settle yet." Thorne looks crestfallen for a moment.
"But Rosa, we don't have to be steady. We're teens after all, let's just Woohoo and figure out the responsibility stuff later."

Rosaline is game for non-committal kissing, and much, much more...

"It's birthday time! I'm going to be an adult! Yippee!" Even geniuses get hyper sometimes, and Ty is no exception.

Tyson grows cross-eyed as the glittery feeling consumes him. "Yeah, baby, I'm a big boy now." He mumbles as his body tingles.

Tyson doesn't look too different then he was before, just a bit taller and a touch of stubble. He definitely feels more mature however, his hot tempered reined in by insight.

Thorne and Rosaline are super excited. It could be that parties or bring out the best out of people or it could be because they just Woohooed in the shower.

Roxanne doesn't join the party, as she's insanely busy with making this garden great. As she looks at the life fruit glowing in the night, she feels a sense of happiness that she hasn't felt since she first found out she was pregnant. Just as the life fruit grows, this little baby inside her grows. It makes her feel more whole. She wonders if this is how her mother felt when she had her.

Roxanne may be pregnant, but she's still forced to do homework. How does the Pythagorean Theorem compare to the growing baby inside her?

Thorne notices Roxanne's homework frustration, and wonders what he can do to help his pregnant sister-in-law. "She's been working so hard on homework and gardening, maybe she just needs a break?" Thorne wonders as he sits down to eat some leftover cake.

"How are you Roxanne?" Thorne asks cautiously, unsure of what to say to the newest member of the family.
"Dunno." Roxanne mumbles, scratching out another answer on the paper. "School sucks."
"Yeah, it kind of does. But it's almost over for you, and all that shit will help make your mind grow. Kind of like fertilizer makes a flower grow, you know?"

"For an artsy guy, you're pretty cool." Roxanne smiles, Thorne's going to make a good uncle for her baby. Feeling better, she tackles her homework with gusto.

Chapter Twenty-Five: With Bliss Comes Forgiveness

"Roxanne, we just got engaged a few days ago! Don't you think we're going a little fast?" Tyson stammers, knowing it's going to be hard to fight against the fiery determination in Roxanne's bight green eyes. "And we can't do it today, we need to wait for the perfect moment to get married. I mean, the computer's broken, we're not dressed in formal wear, there's no priest..." Roxanne puts a delicate finger against Tyson's lips.

"Ty, I love you so much. I'll never leave you, and I just don't see why we need to wait. We love each other, and want to be together forever, so why not get married?" Roxanne's winning smile is what finally pushes Tyson to agree. "Alright Roxie, but I'm not going to become some whipped married guy!" Roxanne gives him an indulging look, he's pretty much whipped cream in her eyes.

"I love you too." Tyson whispers in Roxanne's ear. "I can't believe we're getting married right now. I mean, we just went to prom yesterday, and now we're getting married!" Roxanne chuckles softly. "I can't believe you put all your makeup back on for the prom, you even had your Mohawk. What were you trying to prove?" Tyson whispers something rather raunchy in Roxanne's ear, and she blushes fiercely.

It's a quick ceremony, a few hasty vows before the lips mingle in wedding matrimony. Neither seems to mind that they're completely bucking tradition. They're married, that's all that matters.

"Now that we're married..." Tyson raises his eyebrows, so that's why she wanted to get married so quickly! Well, he has no complaints about that request, as his "package" perks up at the thought.

"We're really going to be together forever!" Tyson exclaims, an almost childlike smile on his face as he cuddles with Roxanne.

After a few more minutes of cuddling, the two virgins jump under the covers for the first time. They're both excited and nervous as they touch and learn more about the other.

They cuddle once more, glowing from the effects of their first Woohoo.

Tyson's never been a huge fan of exercising, but he wants to be in tip-top shape for his new wife. So he endures the aching muscles for the hope that he can please Roxanne even more the next time they Woohoo.

Roxanne is doing some hard work of her own, helping out Ned with his monstrous garden. "If I ever have a garden of my own, it's never going to be as out of control as this one. The poor plants!" Roxanne thinks to herself as she looks at the wilting plants.

Ned is frankly amazed that Roxanne is gardening in heels. "She's a tough cookie, that one. I wonder why she isn't at home though." Ned thinks quietly to himself, not knowing about the engagement or marriage.

"Mom, I have something to tell you." Tyson continues stretching, knowing the workout probably won't last much longer once Nathalie hears the news. "I got married to Roxanne!" Nathalie chokes on her bite of birthday cake.

Tyson leaves Nathalie alone to her thoughts for a day, hoping that the shock won't turn into rage. He then gets some leftover waffles from the fridge and invites his mom over to talk. "Maybe the food will distract her?" Tyson thinks to himself.
"Tyson Marlin. Why didn't you tell me about your engagement?" Nathalie asks after a few moments of silence, hurt evident in her voice.
"I-I thought you would be mad. But Roxie and I really love each other, and she can calm me down when I'm a raging inferno. She helped me forgive you." Nathalie softens, knowing somehow that Tyson misunderstood what happened with her and Ned.
"Ty-Ty, I didn't cheat on your father. I know it seems like I did, but I didn't." Tyson takes a deep breath, steading himself.
"I don't believe that, but it doesn't really matter now. I love you, and that's all that matters. He's forgiven you, and so will I." Nathalie can't believe her little boy has become so mature.

"But did you have to get married? It's such a big commitment, and you're still a baby!" Tyson shakes his head with a small smile, knowing that Nathalie just wants the best for him.
"I'm happy Mom, and I'm grateful that you're concerned, but I know what I'm doing. I'm going to be an adult in a few days. I'm not your baby boy anymore." He gives Nathalie a peck on the cheek and says something so soft that Nathalie doesn't know if she heard it right. "I love you too Tyson." She whispers as he leaves the room.

Chapter Twenty-Four: Diamonds Light Up The Night

Thorne struggles to sleep, thinking about what Tyson told him. "The spilled wine a representation for both Ty's goth makeup and his unshed tears Mom." Thorne tries to explain, but Nathalie just sees freakishly blue wine. She shakes her head at her son's illogical ramblings as she does the laundry.

"Don't be alarmed Thorne, I decided to sneak out and get a new haircut. Whatcha think?" Nathalie pretends she didn't just hear that her son snuck out at the same time drunks and criminals are roaming the streets, just for a simple haircut.

"You look good, but what about what we were just talking about last night? Didn't you want to be yourself, not conform and stuff?" Thorne is just trying to look out for his big brother, and wonders what happened in one night to make Ty try to fit in with those freaks.

"It's not that I'm trying to mold myself Thor, I just don't want the hassle anymore. Besides, it feels like all the makeup and the hair was just a form of hiding. I don't think it ever was a part of who I am. Besides, I look smoking hot, don't I?" Ty gives Thorne a flirtatious smile, trying to break the tension in the room. It works, and they both start laughing.

"Alright Ty, but I'll take off my shirt to distract the bullies." Thorne grins, like he needs an excuse to show off his abs.
"Boys, enough about your looks and get to school!" Nathalie yells, trying to contain a grin of her own. Her sons may not be the most well-behaved, but she wouldn't trade them for the world.

Tyson had a great day at school, he didn't get bullied once and Roxanne just loved the makeover. He's beaming as he tells Roxanne his great idea.
"The prom is this Saturday, and I would be honored if you would be the one to come with me." Roxanne squeals so loudly that he jerks the phone away from his ear. "Also, Roxanne, there's something else." He's nervous now, this is part one of his best part of his plan. "If you're not busy tonight, let's meet at the Gazebo again. It's so beautiful there, and we had such a great time last time." He gets more squeals in return, and he knows he's winning huge points in the boyfriend books.

The nerves really set in when Ty hangs up the phone. He better do this right, or else he'll mess up their whole relationship. Hopefully there's nobody at the Gazebo tonight.

No such luck. As soon as he arrives at the Gazebo, he sees a wailing man going on about his dead father. "Why is he mourning here? He's going to screw up my surprise!" Tyson grumbles mentally as he glares at the grieving man.

Ty stand awkwardly, feeling bad that he didn't pick a very romantic place for their date. Roxanne tries to comfort him, knowing he did the best he could on such short notice. "He's just so sweet when he's nervous!" Roxanne thinks to herself with a girly laugh.

"Ty, it's beautiful. Besides, you know me, I'll like anything you'll do for me. I'm a simple kind of girl." She looks over at the egg smeared pillars. "It's not your fault that some people just don't know how to have fun." Tyson laughs, and they start loudly mocking the man's dumb attempt at pranking. "We're right here you know, doofus!"

The man leaves in a huff, and they giggle for several minutes. "You make me feel special Ty, that's what I love about you. Nobody's ever made me feel like this before, like I'm pretty. Hey!"

Tyson has just grabbed her bum, wearing a cocky little smirk that Roxanne knows is a parody of the school's jocks.
"Heeeey babe, you wanna play some one-on-one baseball?" Tyson growls as sexily as possible, before erupting in laughter. Roxanne smacks him lightly on the shoulder, a large smile on her face.

They play around for a few minutes, before Ty looks serious. "Roxanne, you don't know how beautiful you are. It may be sappy and lame, but you're the most beautiful girl in the world. I love you just the way you are."

Roxanne starts to say something, but he shushes her softly. "Listen, Roxie, I didn't invite you out here just for a normal date. I've been thinking that we are meant to be together, and I think you feel the same way." Roxanne nods, not seeing the point to what he's saying. "It's a special date, and so I got a special present for you."

He bends down on one knee, and Roxanne gasps in surprise. "I know we're just teenagers, and we don't have to get married right away, but I love you so much. I never want to be apart. Roxanne Broke, will you marry me?"

Roxanne is speechless as Tyson puts on the ring on her finger. "How-Wh-What?" She stumbles, completely in shock.

Tyson stares down at the ground, it's like the butterflies in his stomach have morphed into some mutant laser beam shooting creature. Or perhaps it's robotic butterflies? "Please say yes, please say yes, please..." He thinks to himself, feeling like he might just die or something if she says no.

"Yes! Of course Ty, I love you, I never want to be without you!" She screams, running towards Tyson with the hugest grin on her face. He did it, Tyson Marlin is going to marry Roxanne Broke!
