Chapter Two: Watering Holes are Romantic?

Right when Nathalie and Ned arrive at the local watering hole, Chip Offtheblock starts eying his date. "Maybe I ought to run him over with my firetruck. Or set him on fire!" He thinks vengefully, letting his pyromaniac trait run rampant in his mind.

"Wow Nathalie, when did you get time to get flowers!" Ned exclaims, loving the romantic gesture. "Even men like romantic sometimes" he tells himself nervously.

"I have my ways," whispers Nathalie, eyes on Ned. "I dare you to try and find out."

Ned stares at her for a while with his intense brown eyes, trying to figure it out. Wanting the date to progress from looking at each others, she confesses. "Okay, so the taxi driver had some with him, so much for romantic surprises Mr. Nosey." Nathalie says sheepishly.

"That's so sweet," Ned gushes, barely able to keep onto his manly image. He tries to control himself by giving Nathalie a very macho, yet romantic hug.

"I have to go finish cleaning up my house, but let's do this again sometime. Like tomorrow." Ned sighs, but Nathalie really is interested. She is just getting so tired, and she still has so much to do. Nathalie gives a soft kiss against Ned's lips, the soft exotic lips making her feel oh so tingly.

"Yuck!" Nathalie mutters, wonders if the garbage is worse or the overwhelming brown stripes surrounding her horrible puke colored bed.

She wanted at least one room to look less nauseating, so she scraped together some savings and renovated her bathroom and added a few other nice items around the house. She was hoping to avoid the workplace for a little while, but she can't do that without savings.

The next day, she forces herself to start working, but she's surprised to find it much less tedious then the old 9-5 job she had before. "Haha! I get paid for doing this? Bye-bye ghostie!" Nathalie squeals as she captures her first ghost, a happy smirk on her face. Nothing can stop her now!

After work, she dresses up to go on her second date at the local park near her home. She's tired, but excited to spend more time with Ned.
